Microsoft Office Project Server Administrator Training
Is your Project Server EPM platform already setup? Do you need to provide your administrators an overview of your organization’s Project Server environment? MicroAssist can help.
MicroAssist identifies your business goals, evaluates your Project Server environment, and takes your administrators through your organization’s unique environment.
Microsoft Project End-user Training
MicroAssist has trained thousands of students on Microsoft Project to assist them in managing their projects. The topics covered in our Project courses build the critical skills necessary to create and modify a project plan file that organizes tasks in a work breakdown structure containing task relationships. Students will also learn how to create and assign resources and finalize the project file to implement the project plan.
Students also have the opportunity to work with the project plan once it has entered the project implementation phase. They will exchange project plan data with other applications, update project plans, create custom reports and reuse project plan information.
Courses offered include:
Microsoft Project 2007 - Introduction
Microsoft Project 2003 - Introduction
Microsoft Project 2003 - Intermediate
Microsoft Project 2002 - Introduction
Microsoft Project 2002 - Intermediate
Project Management Fundamentals
The Project Management Fundamentals course provides an overview of the theory and core methodology needed to manage your organization’s projects, and participate on project teams.
While this course is software independent, you will learn about the Project Management Life Cycle and the Project Manager’s role in each phase, discuss success factors for managing projects, and identify elements to build a winning project team. Students also talk about Risk Management, Project Plans, Project Schedules, Project Budgets, and Project Tracking and Control. Additional elements include a communications overview, reporting methods, change requests and evaluating projects upon completion.
Project Management Professional Certification Preparation
Your organization’s ability to demonstrate best practices in Project Management is key to completing projects on-time and within the budget allocated. The Project Management Professional Certification Preparation course expands on the basic concepts of project management discovered in the Fundamentals class above, and covers in-depth the essential elements of managing a successful project. The generally accepted practices recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) are applied in the course, which prepare students for the PMI certification exam.
